I have been wanting to do this for years and finally sat down to make my first blog page. Of course, it took me two days because I had to make sure I had a suitable name and pretty fun colors to represent me. Anyway, welcome and I love to give old useless things a home and make them new again. It's mostly because I am cheap and refuse to pay for them and plus it's fun!! Let me start from the beginning....
My first 'WOW' moment was when I found out I was pregnant and realized how expensive art work is for a nursery!! So.... I bought some canvases and started painting. Now I paint all kinds of things but my passion will always be kids art. I will show some of that later in a blog, I'm sure!! After my daughter got a little older, I loved all the wonderful clothes but HATED the price tag so I taught myself to sew. From then on I have been thrifting everything!!
On a personal note, I have battled with extreme depression and have realized what vitamin D can do to the soul!! WOW!! I have taken up gardening and even got some chickens and a little revamped coop (will definitely post pictures of them and the coop!!). It is amazing how being outside in nature and breathing in fresh air can completely change your mood. God is so good!!
This is an amazing song to play on your ipod when gardening, running, or even just jamming in your car!! It's such a happy song:)
